Alexa for Everyone

Alexa is a trusted partner and advocate for all communities. The goal of this initiative was to build awareness to our accessibility community and demonstrate how voice technology can support the lifestyles of our customers and drive meaningful change. Designed as a centralized resource for customers to learn about Alexa Accessibility features and how-tos, it also curates customer stories about Alexa’s impact on their lives.

This hub would bridge the gap to create more emotional connections with our customers through content experiences, such as video, infographics, authentic stories, and more. The hub serves as a single source for customers with accessibility issues to learn more about how they can utilize Alexa in their day-to-day life and the lives of the people they may care for.

The site leads with an accessibility-forward design and includes 8 features, 14 customer stories, and 26 how-to’s. We also launched a user-generated video montage (This is Alexa for Everyone), highlighting customers using Alexa to be more connected, entertained, and independent in their daily lives.

Custom video and animated content highlight new features that help support more independent lifestyles, including closed captioning, real time text and show & tell to name a few.
